Abused Deaf Woman’s Advocacy Services
Started in the late 80’s after a deaf woman was killed by her deaf husband, this agency has grown tremendously. Their first grant was for $4,000, they now have a $700,000 budget. They do crisis hotlines, community education, parenting programs, child centers, etc.
