Signed Music Recital

  • When: Sunday, June 8 at 8:30 pm (for about an hour)

  • Where: First United Methodist Church in Appleton (325 E. Franklin)

  • Who/Why: Devin Burke, a Lawrence University student who is inspired by music and the Deaf culture wanted to write one piece of music based on American Sign Language with Melanie Blechl. The rest of the recital is music only and not based on American Sign Language. There is no cost to attend the event, however, donations will go towards Deaf Empowerment.
