Children sign language choir in the works

Organizer looking for children interested in music and friends

If you’ve ever had the opportunity to see a sign language choir, you know it can be a moving sight to see. A group of families have begun meeting together to have their children form a sign language choir, and they’re looking for more children who might be interested in joining the group.

Praising Hands, the name of the group, has met twice and have picked out two songs they will be working on this year: Eyes of the Heart and Awesome God.

While the group is forming as a sign choir, that isn’t the only purpose. It is also an opportunity for the kids to get together for a social opportunity to use sign and meet other children who know sign.

If you are interested, please contact Lori Prahl by email at lorip@deafe.org or by calling her at (920) 982-6143 (Voice).
