		Special Thanks To… We would like to extend our thanks to the following people for their time, talents and resources graciously donated to Deaf Empowerment Terri Matenaer and Margaret Damrow for their leadership and hard work in coordinating the Leadership Training that took place on May 21 and 22. Libby Pollard for agreeing to come and present at our Leadership Training in May. Valley Packaging Industries for the use of their classroom to teach the Basic American Sign Language course twice a week. Fox Cities United Way for their generous grant of $10,000 to support our General Services. Fox Cities Community Foundation for their generous grant of $5,000 to support our Child and Family Services. Time Warner Cable for their grant of $500 to support our Child and Family Services. Shannon and Jeremy Hansen for their efforts to help obtain the grant from Time Warner Cable. Lorinda Heft for her nearly two years of service on the Deaf Empowerment Board of Directors, and for agreeing to begin spearheading social events for Deaf Seniors on behalf of Deaf Empowerment.
