D/HH individuals face unique challenges in the job market. With communication barriers and the sometimes costly accommodation of a qualified sign language interpreter, employers need to be convinced of the benefits of hiring a D/HH individual. Deaf Empowerment will work to help employers understand this as well as increase the employment and job hunting skills of D/HH individuals through Employment Services.
