Deaf Empowerment's mission is to empower Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals to live more productive lives through advocacy, education and community involvement.

Knowledge is power. One way that we are helping to empower the community is by providing resources for people to check out.

The library was initially established by generous grants from the Fox Cities United Way and the Fox Cities Community Foundation. It will continue to be supported through general contributions and future grants.

We currently have over 100 items available to check out from our lending library.  Items may be checked out for four weeks at a time. You may pick them up from Deaf Empowerment's office during normal office hours, or by contacting Executive Director.

There is no cost to borrow materials from the lending library.  However, you are asked to sign an agreement that should you not return an item you will be responsible for the cost of replacing the materials to our library.
